USC Venture Capital Academy is USC's dedicated gateway into venture capital, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The club's mission is to equip students with the skills, experience, and network to evaluate, support, and build transformative companies.
Throughout the history of our club, we have engaged with investors at NEA, Andreessen Horowitz, Pear VC, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, and Altos Ventures, among others. Our members are extensively trained in sourcing best practices, market research and analysis, cap table mechanics, company lifecycles, finance fundamentals, and more.
VCA draws members from a wide range of academic backgrounds, and our alumni go on to pursue careers across venture capital, startup founding, investment banking, and consulting, among other paths.
